Tohatsu MFS5D SS outboard motor 5 hp — short shaft

Tohatsu MFS5D SS — 5 hp four-stroke outboard motor in short shaft version, supplied with a separate 12-litre fuel tank.

From this model onwards you switch to an external tank, which lets you stay out considerably longer without refuelling. COi ignition and a fast-idle choke make starting straightforward; the aluminium alloy with zinc coating protects against corrosion in fresh and salt water.

Which boat does this motor fit

Suitable for the Selakos 280 (maximum 6.5 hp) and the Selakos 330 (maximum 15 hp). Not suitable for the 180 and 230 — those may carry a maximum of 3.5 hp. Put together a complete set in the combi-deal configurator.
