Tohatsu MFS8CZ S outboard motor 8 hp — short shaft

Tohatsu MFS8CZ S — 8 hp four-stroke outboard motor in short shaft version, with two cylinders and a separate 12-litre fuel tank.

The first twin-cylinder in the range: noticeably smoother and quieter than the single-cylinder models below it. A crossflow cylinder head for efficient combustion, and a trim tab that doubles as an anode against corrosion.

Which boat does this motor fit

Suitable for the Selakos 330 (maximum 15 hp). Not suitable for the 180, 230 and 280 — those may carry a maximum of 3.5 and 6.5 hp respectively. Put together a complete set in the combi-deal configurator.
