Tohatsu MFS4D S — 4 hp four-stroke outboard motor in short shaft version. The first motor in the range with a full reverse gear.

Compact and reliable, with a digital ignition system and thermostat-controlled cooling for a long service life. It starts in cold water without any fuss and delivers steady performance at every engine speed.

• Shaft length: short shaft (S) — the version that matches the transom height of the Selakos inflatable boats
• Gearshift: forward, neutral and reverse
• Starting: manual start (pull start)
• Fuel: integrated tank as standard; a separate 12 or 24 litre tank is available as an option
• Propeller: included as standard
• Low oil pressure indicator, kill cord, start protection and rev limiter

Which boat does this motor fit

Suitable for the Selakos 280 (maximum 6.5 hp) and the Selakos 330 (maximum 15 hp). Not suitable for the 180 and 230 — those may carry a maximum of 3.5 hp. Put together a complete set in the combi-deal configurator.

Petrol outboard motors are shipped with an empty fuel tank; that is standard practice. Free shipping within the Netherlands; to Belgium, Germany, France and Luxembourg €59.95.
